Start with the original media link
Copy the URL of the video you want to save and paste it into the link field in your library. Downloora inspects supported sources to find the available media formats.
Website support can change. The presence of a video on a page does not guarantee that its source will allow a remote download.
Choose video or audio when available
If Downloora offers a format choice, choose the video or audio option you want. Available quality, file size, and formats come from the source.
An audio-only option saves sound rather than a video. If no video option is available, Downloora has not found a retrievable video format for that link.
Find your saved media by its thumbnail
Completed media appears in your library. Thumbnails or artwork help identify saved files when the source provides them or a preview can be generated.
Open supported videos or audio to preview them in your browser. Download the file for a local copy, and use folders to keep your collection organized.
Understand source restrictions
Some websites require sign-in, restrict access from download servers, or make media unavailable by region. A public page can still have a protected or inaccessible video source.
DRM-protected media cannot be imported. Downloora does not promise support for every website or video. Read the specific import error before retrying.
Use browser import for a file you can already access
If the source offers a download or you have a permitted local copy, open the plus menu and choose Upload media file to save it to your library.
The Import from browser guide explains how to upload media you can access. This is a way to add your own file when a remote link import is unavailable, subject to your storage allowance.
Frequently asked questions
Can I download a video from every website?
No. Source support, sign-in requirements, server access restrictions, and DRM can prevent a download. Downloora shows available formats and errors for the link you provide.
Will every saved video have a thumbnail?
Thumbnails depend on source metadata or successful preview generation. Some files may have no image available.
Where do completed downloads go?
They appear in your private Downloora library and count toward your storage usage. You can preview supported media, download it, or delete it from there.
